I have finally made is across the Atlantic Ocean after 6 long weeks at sea and have docked in the French colonial port of Louisbourg. They seem to have a wild seagull problem here or as they call it "Mouette Sauvage" those French always make things sounds much fancier. These "mouette sauvage" are flying all over the place. I am going explore this port town for a bit.

I was able to get a room at the Hotel de le Marine, and grab a pint at L'Epee Cafe, they also has these fried long potato sticks which they called "frites", again another fancy French fad that will never catch on. I needed some supplies for my ship so look at look in the Maison de Magasin but it was just those pesky seagulls flying in and out.

It seems Gouverneur Deurklink of Louisbourg thought I was a new French recruit so I ended up spending the night in the Bastion du Roi, but I quickly convinced them that I was not French and let me go but told me I had to leave immediately, so I went over to the Masion d'Import to pay by port tax so I could leave - and oh buoy (see what I did there) that was a wild ride.
