"This mini-creation is inspired by the real life Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, USA. It's a large functioning hotel, and it was famously used for Stephen King's The Shining, redressed as the Overlook Hotel for the movie. The real hotel is famously haunted as well, so turning it into a dark ride seemed fitting. I decorated the entire interior, basing it off of dark rides such as the Haunted Mansion that rely on animatronics and props to give a good ride experience. The front of the building is almost an accurate 1-1 in terms of sizing, windows, and decor with some slight liberties. This is my first contest entry, so I'm happy to have pulled something from my personal life into the game and to see it come to life."
