During the prohibition, Jody Thompson and her family made the best moonshine in the eastern Smoky Mountains, or so they thought. Unfortunately, at some point the prohibition was lifted and the Thompsons realised that their alcohol was not good at all and noone wanted to buy it anymore, now that they had alternatives. The times were rough until Auntie Jody had the brilliant idea of turning their old distillery into a tourist attraction. Soon, tourists started flocking in who mistook the horrible taste of Thompson Moonshine for authenticity and novelty. This let the Thompson's stay afloat financially. It went on for some time, but then Jody had another brilliant idea: Add a coaster to their shack to attract even more people! At first she wanted to buy an alpine coaster, but her son Randy got dizzy in the curves and helices of that model, so she went with something else: a launched coaster made by SMC (Smokey Mountain Constructions). This would surely bring in more tourists and make the Thompson family rich!
