A lovely park called ‘The North Frontier’, named after Captain William North, wanted to expand their park. They decided to add a nice little kiddie area called ‘Cactus Creek’, which is located in the eastern half of the ‘Wild West’ area, and is connected to the park by the ‘North Junction’; which is not named after William North, but after its position above the ‘South Junction’.

During the construction of the new area an old abandoned mineshaft was discovered. Thus the activities were temporarily halted as ‘The English Memorial advisory board’, named after English Memorial, a Portuguese businessmen and co-founder of the park, discussed what should be done with this mineshaft. After a thorough review, they decided to keep the mineshaft, reinforce it and permanently station a handyman to maintain the foliage while sustaining the old vintage look of the mining facilities.

Today is the premiere of Cactus Creek. Enjoy this new area with the whole family. It features rides for kids of all ages. If your kid is tall enough you could join them to take a ride on ‘Rusty Rider’, a kiddie coaster passing through the old mineshaft. For the smaller kids there’s swing set and a climb tower. This playground also features a sandbox for the youngest members of the family.

After the fun activities you could all gather at the saloon for a lovely meal and refreshments. Lastly, if your kids behaved well – meaning they did not ask every minute how long the queue is going to last, did not cry while riding ‘Rusty Rider’, nor did they ate any sand while playing in the sandbox – you could treat them for some ‘Good Boi’s Icecream’; named after Good Boi, an ex-criminal trying to reintegrate into society.

Have a nice day!
