It is 2020 and the world has been struck by a pandemic. All over the globe measures are being taken, including in Vietnam. The small communities living on Ha Long Bay in floating fishing villages were forced to move to the mainland as they could not adhere to the social distancing standards. For a short period of time the Bay was free of any human interference. But admits the covid-19 crisis something wonderful happened. The mythical Ha Long Dragon returned and descended upon the area! Words spread fast and people were returning to visit the Descending Dragon. They began to worship the majestic beast; built temples, and created a chairlift in order to get closer to the dragon. In time, when the corona crisis slowly faded away, more and more people came to visit the area. In turn, the locals wanted to rebuild the regional economy. Therefore, with approval of UNESCO, they created several rides including a coaster, and a nice boat-restaurant for the visitors. The now flourishing Bay area is repopulating again, and with the remnants of the old floating fishing village still in place, even some of the fisherman returned and went back to their daily activities.
