My plot is themed after the Baja 1000, an off-road motorsport race held each year through the deserts of northwest Mexico, featuring various classes of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The race is typically a 600-800 mile loop of the Baja peninsula, travelling through small towns and through the desert and hills between Ensenada and La Paz.
