The site of this park was originally a stone quarry. After all the stone they could blast away was gone, the mining company left. 30 years later, people realized there were many giant trees growing in the basin of the quarry. They realized that some of the materials used to blast away the quarry actually contained nutrients for the trees. Seeing an opportunity, a logging company quickly turned the site in to a logging/mill center. When the giant trees were nearly gone, the government forced the company to stop logging. Not wanting to lose money, the company hired mack rides to build a roller coaster on the site to drag in tourists. The coaster, named Powder Keg, is themed after the dangerous methods used to blast away the quarry back when there were little regulations. It's supports are made entirely of steel, but resemble wood to fit the theme more adequately. I hope you all enjoy this park!
