Welcome to Mountain Stream (Keiryu) Park.

The design of the wooden coaster was inspired by (not exact copy of) Thunderbolt at Kennywood. Particularly the initial drop out of the station into the ravine. I made the ravine for the initial drop run throughout the park.

I decided to use a Japanese theme because I thought the wooden and bamboo Asian buildings would match well with the main wooden coaster. Also, I like the Asian theme items and wanted a chance to try them out.

The name of the main coaster - Hekireki - is a word for 'thunderclap' in Japanese, thus calling back to the original that served as inspiration.

The mechanics are named after Japanese people I've worked with. Other workers are named after anime characters and it is left as an exercise to figure out where they are from.
