I decided to do Bumbly Beach with a redesign of the Big Dipper. Back when I started playing RCT as a child, I remember being unable to make my own coasters. Rather I'd make my “coasters” with the mini railroad, because the reason I couldn't was I'd not learned how to use the chain lift. The Big Dipper was a coaster that I thought was good, so I had saved it, and would place it in just about any park I tried to play. Eventually I did learn how to use the chain lift and would go on to play a lot of the original RCT. I thought it might be interesting to try to redesign the coaster, since I had used it so much as a kid.

Things in this park turned out ok I think. However, keeping true to the original layout as much as I wanted to has put forth a few issues. Specifically, the coaster doesn't work well with the mid-run brakes, and the station is something I'm not particularly happy with, the lift hill greatly interferes with the station.

This park is also the first time I've tried to make custom rides. The one I like the most is Mad Indy's Super Track. It's a crappy little ride I based off of a flat ride that is Nascar themed at the go-kart track in a nearby town, and it looked just as painful in real life. I did not try to do any spagetti trains in this park, but if I participate again, I may try that technique.
