Welcome to the September Rileywood Park STAFF NEWLETTER

- Today marks the 1st year anniversary of the completion of our ambitious ‘Bring Back the Dips’ project that combined our infamous (World’s Longest Wooden Twister) roller coaster Cyclone with the structural remains of the beloved Rileywood Dipper to create the new Rileywood Cyclone. Rider reviews are excellent, attendance numbers are up and everyone is enjoying ‘going Back’ over the Dips again. Thanks to your help and support over this time together we not only prevented the complete demolition of our beloved Dipper but created an incredible world-first rider experience that commemorates it.
- The Board Walk and back end of the park will remain closed until the end of the season while we continue to recover those parts of the park from this summer’s wild fires. Thank to you all that have volunteered their time in the clean up and repairs.
- This month, all members of the Deurklink discord server (that are not already employees of the park) are enjoying free entry to Rileywood. In return, new member Fastfly48 is making a recreation of the front end of our park and posting it in the special Switch back coaster-themed September Ride Creation Contest. What a great opportunity to showcase our prized and (very) unique Rileywood Cyclone! We wish Mr Fastfly all the luck in the contest and urge our readers to join the Deuklink discord server (it’s free!) and give our park (and the Rileywood Cyclone) a vote.
- The new Chicken Dippers and Dip’n Dots snack area in the old Dipper station building have proven to be a hit among visitors. The original Rileywood Dipper train has also now been lovingly refurbished and installed back in its old station allowing guests to enjoy their Dipper-themed snacks from their old favourite Dipper seat.
- Our October FrightNight preparations are under way! We have a palette and paint master currently working on some special new trains in the Rileywood Cyclone maintenance shed.
