Welcome to Tarzan’s Playground!

After deciding to stay with Tarzan in the jungle, Jane and her father quickly got accustomed to the very basic way of living that Tarzan and his family kept up for ages. With the research of her father continuing over the years, Jane would head back to Baltimore to pick up supplies as this would be too tiring of a journey for him. The first couple of times Jane went without Tarzan, but he began to wonder about the world that most of the strangers that were so like him lived. Thus came the day that Jane decided that her and Tarzan could visit her hometown together, so he could learn more about where he came from.

However, upon arriving at the docks in Baltimore Tarzan got overwhelmed. He saw danger in the trotting horses that came by pulling their owners’ carriages along the bumpy road, in every honk that came from a car, even in the whistling noise of the kettle on the stove. No matter how many times Jane tried to reassure him that these were regular things and nothing to worry about, Tarzans primal instinct was to protect Jane wherever she went. This made it far more difficult for her to collect all the necessary supplies for her father as the shopkeepers were quite intimidated by the tall stranger, who did not even wear a shirt.
To ensure that Jane and Tarzan would be able to catch the next boat back to the jungle, Jane decided to contact an old friend of hers. He was in the middle of building an entertainment area for the people of Baltimore and would definitely not say no to an extra pair of strong hands. Intrigued by Tarzan’s exotic heritage, like all others who laid eyes on the tall, shirtless stranger, he decided to find out more about Tarzan and Jane’s life in the jungle. They became the inspiration for a jungle-themed amusement park.

Now, every time Tarzan joins Jane in her voyage to Baltimore, they stay in the wooden hut in the park. While Tarzan and Baltimore may not get along that well, in maybe ever, the jungle is, and will always be, Tarzan’s Playground.
