The lost city of Atlantis slumbers deep under the ocean. For eons, the surface was a legend to the grey-skinned inhabitants of the city, just as the city was mythical to those above. Their world changed, though, when a fateful rectangular object drifted on the currents to them. The Atlantean elders and divinators, infinite in their wisdom, discovered a small protuberance on the artifact's side. When pressed, the artifact glowed with an unknown magic, and revealed a treasure trove of secrets.

Among the many things learned from the object, the Atlanteans took particular interest in a set of strange machines, labeled as "TOP 10 most INSANE roller coasters that SHOULD BE ILLEGAL". Fascinated, the elders ordered their finest stonemasons and ferromancers to construct such a device atop a section of the city, with many "Loop de loops" and "Whee twistys". Upon its completion, the machine was so popular that they built a second right next to the first.
