It has been 10 years since the Great War, which has left the world lawless and in ruins. While the warring powers have long been eradicated, frenzied autonomous drones still drop bombs on the lands from time to time.

Many tribes are struggling to make a living in this new, dangerous world. New settlements are being formed on the ruins of the old cities. One of those settlements is Junktopia.

Ironically, the impact site of a huge bomb, which nicknamed Fat Man after one of the WW2 atomic bombs, was one of the safest places in the wasteland because the bandits avoided it. Several survivors banded together to fortify the place and it quickly turned into a small fort surrounded by a big wall.

To attract more wastelanders to the place, several attractions were built, including a wing coaster named Wings of Glory. Wastelanders who were eager to escape the harsh reality of the world for a day could come for a visit, in exchange for some hard-earned credits, or one of their kidneys.

After seeing Junktopia thrive, many bandits came back to the area, to try and profit from this lucrative business. Will Junktopia stay a safe haven in the wasteland? Is the bomb in the center of the settlement really inactive? Why is there a bio-lab in the park?
