"PRESS RELEASE: Standing over 200 feet tall, Excelsior is the crown jewel of Maplewood Shore. Constructed in 1996, the Arrow hypercoaster has thrilled countless guests who have visited the park, giving them marvelous views of Lake Ontario while bringing them through exhilarating hills at high speeds. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the coaster, Maplewood Shore is pleased to announce its summer sale: only $50 for a season pass! In addition, a light show will be held every night at 9PM, projected directly onto Excelsior itself. You won't want to miss it! Visit Maplewood Shore, upstate New York's premier amusement park!"

Commentary: The moment I saw "2km requirement" for the contest, my immediate thought was "hyper coaster". I was intrigued to find out Arrow only made 5 of them. This coaster mainly takes inspiration from The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The name "Excelsior" is the New York state motto, so I found it fitting to put it in upstate New York.

Aside from the coaster, we have four smaller rides. The steel wild mouse really puts into perspective the massive size of Excelsior. The log flume fits perfectly well into a traditional amusement park, not needing the costly landscaping of a River Rapids. To keep with the retro-theming, we have glow-in-the-dark mini golf! Finally, a top-spin that's rose-themed because that's the New York state flower.

I was on vacation for a week this month, so I was rushed for time. If I had extra time, there'd be less black tiles, one more coaster, and cars in the parking lot. Hopefully this design has pleased your eyes
