Welcome to Cedar Flags, the flagship park of everyone’s favorite North American theme park chain! A few years ago, the park decided to add a new area themed to classic monster films, called “Transylvanian Territory”. A new station and a fresh coat of paint turned Time Twister (a Zamperla Volare) into the bone chilling (and back injuring) Vampire. The top spin, King Chaos, got a few electric effects to become the shocking Dr. Frankenstein’s Re-Animator. The classic mini golf Cedar Greens was largely unchanged, but something big would be roaring through the small village that housed several of its holes.

Enter Garou, the main attraction of the new area. Great Coasters International was contracted to design a werewolf themed wooden coaster, taking advantage of the forested hills and the mini golf village. Shortly after opening, it became a fan favorite of the park, due to its thrilling layout and terrain interaction.

The operation season’s almost over, and we’re in the middle of our “Howl-o-ween” event. Come see our costumed staff members mingling through the park, and take in the beautiful fall colors on the surrounding hillsides. But get your tickets now, cause the park’s closing for the winter in a few weeks!
