Conductor Log–Serenity Express–May 12th 1994
10 years ago today, Serenity Hills Fun World opened to the public and boy has it evolved. With only a movie theatre, Adam’s Arcade, an outdoor concert venue, and a small go-kart track, this facility was meant more to be a fun local attraction then a theme park. Our rail line has seen its first big expansion into what is known as the Wild West area. A new wooden coaster is currently being constructed and our new station was completed last week. We have also installed the new Sky Fly just west of the concert amphitheatre.

The newest branch of the rail line was completed today as we extended into the Lacandon Jungle area. What is most impressive about this jungle area is that they constructed a large divide with the Wild West that has allowed for the construction of such a picturesque backdrop for the area while also serving as a focal point for the exciting new river rapids ride. I must admit, the new rail line through this area is a little dodgy but, What a Sight!!!

Huge news for the park was released today. I guess we no longer will have the amphitheatre anymore as it is being torn down. The park just announced a brand new drop coaster is going to be built. It sounds like they will also be replacing the North Station from what I hear. The whole area will be re-themed to match the coaster with new pathways and an upgrade to the rail line which will now cross the speedway.

The Wild West is seeing a big expansion this year. A new target shooting theme ride is being built. Something about a rowdy group of bandits at a bar coming up with an idea to rob a train. Sounds like a lot of fun. Apparently it is all laser guns or something. I’m too old for that kind of stuff but the kids love it apparently. The owner is also planning a new themed area to be built adjacent to the Wild West.
