Amokev was once a great city, surrounded by lush forests and tropic rivers. Sadly, after some mysterious astral activities, the city's soil
was corrupted and the city itself was rendered uninhabitable as no edible plants would grow there. For a long time,
all that was told of Amokev was rumors about its grandeur and the strange, purple tint of the trees that had started growing there.
It was not until centuries later that explorers and scientists went back to Amokev to investigate the grounds. While
they found that the soil was indeed corrupt and not fit for growing any kind of grain, they also discovered that
if the soil was stepped on for some time, it would turn into a universal fuel that could be used to run almost any type
of machine. Pending further results, the government, seeing the potential of this fuel, figured that the best way to increase
the amount of people stepping on the soil would be to build an amusement park within the ruined city. One of the park's first attractions,
a rollercoaster named Sprite, would become the world's first large-scale machine to run on the fuel found in the Amokev soil.
