Welcome to Mud Mountain. Once a bustling logging and mining village, this small community, nestled within the Batlik mountain pass, has been converted into a theme park. Home of The Timber Striker, this air powered launch coaster launches guests at a speed of 130 km/h over the renovated Mud Mountain Railway Bridge. The coaster then follows the terrain of Mud Mountain, passing over the waterfall then crossing the river on its way back to the station.
Visitors can also take a ride in a 4x4 truck along the Mud Mountain trail which climbs up and over the mountain while passing near the old settler’s village. This 4x4 ride begins in the old logging mill where logs sent from upstream would be collected and milled. Right next door is the Mud Mountain tunnel. This tunnel was originally dug to allow access to the mine below and to provide access from both sides of the Mud Mountain waterfall. Guests can take in all of the history of the area while also enjoying some of the other attractions including the Rickety Roller, the Mud River Bashers, and the Mud River White Water Rafting 3D adventure.
Make sure to take a ride on the Mud Mountain Railway which escorts visitors around the park on the original rail line built by the first settlers in the area. This railway served as a branch line to the Batlik mountain railway which helped to deliver the logging and quarried stone from Mud Mountain down river to the City of Duerk.
