This rollercoaster is a collaboration between Rocky Mountian Construction and the Class Action Mega Park Group. The CAMP-group requested a rollercoaster with a new concept that ads tension for the riders whitout making a compromise for safety reasons. RMC and the CAMP-group came up with a Dual Rail Rollercoaster, which is a evolution of the iconic Single Rail Rollercoaster. The layout can support two trains which travel trough the same track (dual rail) or split up into their own track (single rail).
The risky part of this design which makes it a great ride for a Class Action Park is the fact that variable factors that influence ride speed could potentially make the ride very dangerous. The weather, guest weight, humidity, time of day and the mood of the operating personnel all have major influence on the speed of both trains. Which have the tendency to ‘kiss’ each other once in a wile.
The ‘kiss’ is part of the theming of the rollercoaster. It is called dragon dance and is about two japanese dragons who are madly in love with each other and perform a mating ritual. The red male (fiery tempest) chases the blue female (tranquill ocean) through the dragon valley and sometimes ‘kisses’ her lovely butt. Which eventualy leads to more baby dragons…
