I based this park on my favorite area of the game Elden Ring, Caelid/Aeonia Swamp. I didn't try to recreate any specific part of the area, but used the general atmosphere as inspiration for the theme of this park.

Hidden somewhere deep in a desolate, rotting swamp stand the ruins of a once magnificent temple. The withered stones of the buildings were already ancient and crumbling since before anyone alive today was even born - but what caused this decay still lingers among the ruins. The Scarlet Rot consumed the buildings and its inhabitants alike, leaving only rotten ruins behind. Some say the remains are kept upright only by the rot, others say they are cursed....

But this gloomy atmosphere did not discourage the locals, who returned to the ruins and build a massive rollercoaster through them. Because why not. There wasn't anyone living there anyway.
