Folks were excited. It was the opening day of the state fair. Grandstand shows included the demolition derby and the rodeo were among the acts that took place. But today was the rednecks' favorite, the Monster Truck Show with death defying stunts. The spectators were thrilled!! Even the 50-foot woman showed up for the performance. She danced with delight. Who would’ve guessed she is a redneck. The show’s operators were ready with fireworks for after the show. Entertainers were there to excite the crowd. The stunts were to be performed by professionals, but unbeknownst to the show's operator, guests were sneaking in line.
The fair included rides for the kiddies and those for the brave at heart. There were both an art/photography exhibit and a livestock exhibit. The world’s largest scorpion was an amazing part of the fair. At the main exhibition hall, vendors sold their wares, including one who was selling hot tubs. All in all, it was a great day!
