During one of its exploration trips through the asteroid belt, S.S. Klink discovered a group of asteroids, each harboring giant colorful crystals. Humans being humans, a mission was set up to colonize these asteroids to each other so they could be stripped of their valuables. A novel, way too complicated transport system was set up in the form of an alpine coaster to quickly bring the miners up from the spaceship onto the asteroids. Space tourists who came to see the crystals quickly took over this transport system however, because they were strong believers in the Rule 7 doctrine.
