This independent regional amusement park themed to the Italian Renaissance was once home to Brainstorm, a large custom-built wooden roller coaster evoking Leonardo da Vinci’s innovative mind and creations. After the ride grew increasingly rough and unpopular, park management desperately sought a way to renovate it without breaking the bank, and it was given the RMC treatment to become Brainstorm Re-Imagined. In the process, the theme evolved to reflect the hybrid of old and new, with the trains jumping between between da Vinci’s present and the future he may have envisioned. Sharp-eyed peeps will notice the hard line between the older, wood-supported track sections, largely unchanged aside from some re-profiling, and the newer, steel-supported sections that deviate greatly from the original layout.
