Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain permanently closed to the public on August 16, 2014. Two weeks after its closure, it was discovered that the coaster had vanished seemingly overnight! Unknown to the humans of this realm, Colossus had fallen through a rift along the branches of Yggdrasil. Most of Colossus ended up in the light elves' domain within Álfheimr, where the coaster was discovered. After figuring out what they had been delivered, the light elves refurbished the ride into what we have come to know as Twisted Colossus. This is the point in time that we are viewing. Months later, an event similar to the initial displacement of Colossus would return Twisted Colossus to Magic Mountain in time for its reported opening date of May 23, 2015.
tldr: RMC is really just light elves rebuilding coasters
