"The organizers of the park needed to update their oldest part of their park containninng a merry go round with a new thrill to attract new visitors. They decided to update their out of operation woodie, "Shimmy" to a new and updated "Earthquake" and wrapped a go kart track around the coaster for assurance that they would have a new stand out ride in the park."
