Long ago, Fairebor Cavern was a bountiful source of Dwarven gold and jewels, owned by the rich and ambitious Goren Grundlehand. Indeed, this mine was his pride and joy, so much so that he carved his own face at its entrance! Sadly, no vein is infinite, especially not this one, so once the last of this cave’s precious minerals had almost been extracted, it was time for the miners to find work elsewhere.

Or was it?

Grundlehand, being the cunning mogul that he was, began looking for business ideas elsewhere. Just an hour into his search, he stumbled upon a wonderful place where beings from all walks of life could ride rides, eat sweets and smoked meats, and buy all sorts of stuff for premium prices: an amusement park. Or, as he liked to call it, a “fun mine.”

With that idea in his mind and dollar signs in his eyes, Grundlehand and his crew successfully transformed that empty cave into Fairebor Bazaar, the first-ever Dwarven amusement park! Old scaffolds became vendors’ stalls, the miners’ mess hall became a tavern, any leftover gold and jewels became decoration, and most notably, the miners’ barracks became the station for Fairebor Bazaar’s signature ride: the Drunken Railway. A fusion of a Scenic Railway and a teacups ride, this roller coaster spins you around like a stone in a tumbler, all while throwing you over some airtime-filled drops, dips, and hills. It’s a thrill worthy of a warrior, but thanks to a fleet of breakdwarves who each sit on a train and slow it down when necessary, it’s perfectly safe for patrons of all ages. So come on down, drink some dwarven ale, eat a slice of smoked cavewyrm, and take a ride!
