Ginzan Onsen is a former silver mining town turned tourist destination thanks to its natural hot springs and underground mine tours. In order to attract more tourists to the area, the town's disused mine train has been converted into a Jet Coaster to provide thrills to those coming to enjoy the hot springs and traditional ryokan (Japanese inn).
