As the story goes, a benevolent king has opened the gates of his impressive castle for the first time to commoners, inviting them from far and wide. Guests are encouraged to admire its lushly appointed courtyard and wander through the sleepy village across the moat, but the king warns them to beware the presence of a sinister, elusive sorceress who wreaks havoc on the villagers. It’s a familiar tale, and yet, upon exploring both sides of the moat, something doesn’t seem right. Perhaps this pesky witch isn’t as bad as she was made out to be; in fact, she may be the only force protecting these unaware villagers from a ghastly secret guarded within those large stone walls…
