Welcome to Islay, the Whisky Island.
As you step-off the CalMac ferry you will get to experience the newest distillery on the island Gobhar Garbh (go-var gar-var) which has build a brand new mine train coaster Gobhar Garbh Luath (go-var gar-va lu-ah) which takes guest on a tour of it’s distillery and aging hall. After your ride you get to exit through the world’s first whisky tasting bar on a roller coaster exit and have a wee dram of the good stuff.
