“Lakeshore Amusement Park”, a small family owned lakeside park in upstate New York has operated for over 40 years alongside their debut attraction “Corkscrew”, a small arrow dynamics loop and corkscrew model that was placed alongside the lake. Eventually though the ride grew rough and expensive, prompting the park to announce its removal to make way for new additions. Even after the major backlash the ride did eventually close and Lakeshore started teasing a new addition to the now empty lakeside plot which was eventually revealed to be not only a revamp to the dated area but also a custom intamin swing launch model named “Coast Rider”. The new revamped area not only contained this new attraction but also featured repaints of all of the other dated rides in the area, fresh scenery and paths, and even contained one of the original corkscrews, repainted to match the new attraction, and placed directly in the center of the plaza of "Coast Rider" to pay homage to the fallen ride.
