"According to legend, the Tolarians built a fortress centuries ago to protect their water source from the invasion of an ancient sea serpent called Draek. Many battles were fought against the serpent until Draek was slayed... In the present day, the Tolarians have been reduced to a small group living on the island downstream from the water source. In need of funds, they renovated the old fortifications to house modern and thrill rides. Tales of the feared Draek are told to guests as they walk through the fortress. The park's main attraction, Tolarian Terror, revisits the old battles and the glory of this people. Of course, most foreigners do not believe in the stories and think they were invented to attract more visitors.

The park is set in the magical realm of Dominaria, and is vaguely based on the "Tolarian Terror" Magic the Gathering card."
