The eccentric billionaire who owns a small ski resort on the border between Vermont and Quebec want to add something bigger to his selection of small summertime attractions. So, (and while possibly violating Vermont and Quebec law) he buys a plot of land from an old farmer, uses the barn as the station building, and hires Intamin to build a brand new accelerator coaster for his park. That's how the Vermontser was born!
