Stage 1
1989

Following years of industrial decline the former shipyards of Glasgow are in a sorry state. Successful industrialist Iain McBride passes away and his son William Mcbride inherits his vast fortune, among Williams many interests are the various themed parks rapidly growing across the UK as well as the many well established American parks. Hoping to revitalise the deteriorating shipyards area and following the success of the Glasgow Garden Festival the previous year McBride buys up a plot of land and builds his fun fair.

Featuring a number of rides purchased from several travelling carnivals and also playing host to Big Tams Circus. Mcbride is hoping his fair will succeed and grow as much of the surrounding land is going cheap and expansion is possible if the venture proves profitable."
