For this contest everyone will have to build one of my favorite coaster types.. a flying coaster! A flying coaster has the guests riding below the track in a flying position! An element that is seen on most of these coasters is the pretzel loop, an intense element which has the riders travel on the inside of an inverted loop with some high sustained g-forces! OpenRCT2 has added some elements to this ride type like the large half loops, which should make it easier for you to add some really nice inversions to your flying coaster! I recommend watching some POV videos of flying coasters, so you know what kind of elements to expect on a ride type like this.. I also recommend keeping your guests below the track for most of the ride duration!
Rule 1: You have to make a flying coaster! The coaster must use the B&M style Flying Coaster track (but you are allowed to splice in short sections of other track).
Rule 2: You must use any of the flying coaster vehicles from the base game or one the official expansions!
Rule 3: The deadline for this contest will be on the 26th of September at 19:00 CEST!
Rule 4: For this contest, you are only allowed to use objects from the RCT1 and RCT2 base game and their official expansions, OpenRCT2-official objects, and custom objects that are included in the DKSO v1 bench. Custom objects that are not in the DKSO v1 bench are not allowed, so make sure you don't use those. You are also allowed to use a custom palette if you want.
Rule 5: The maximum map size for this round is 3000 tiles. This number will be calculated by multiplying the size of the map edges. You could for example make a map that is 60 x 50 tiles, or 75 x 40 tiles.
Rule 6: There is no limit to the amount of opened rides you can have in the park.
Rule 7: Have fun!
