There's a really cool technique called shoestringing in Rollercoaster Tycoon where you can split your trains into different smaller trains. The game still thinks they are connected, so all cars will keep the same speed. This can be used in several ways, but most people use it to create their own flat rides! Think of rides like Ferris wheels, Merry go rounds or Condor rides. In this round, I want everyone to play around with this technique, and create one or more shoestrung rides!

    • Rule 1: You are allowed to place as many rides or shops in the park as you want.

    • Rule 2: All the rides you place in your contest entry that are opened must be shoestrung in some way. How you use the shoestringing technique is up to you. You can use shoestringing to increase the spacing between trains for example, or you could use it to create a custom flat ride. This rule does not apply to rides that are closed, or in test mode.

    • Rule 3: The maximum map size is 20 x 20 tiles!

    • Rule 4: You are not allowed to use any custom scenery, custom rides or other custom objects in your park, except for a custom palette!

    • Rule 5: The deadline will be Saturday the 23rd of May 2020, at 19:00 CEST!

    • Rule 6: Have fun!
