The multi-dimension coaster is a coaster you don't often see in openRCT2 parks, mostly because it is quite challenging to build! Unlike other coasters, these coasters have seats next to the track that can also rotate, so while building the layout you also need to take into account the rotation of the seats! Now, something to keep in mind with these coasters is that if the seats are not rotated, and the vehicles are on top of the track, the guests will be sitting upright, and facing backwards. When they are below the track, and the vehicles are rotated 180 degrees, the guests will be sitting upright while facing forwards! The seat rotation is not actually factored in in the stat calculation, and it is actually quite difficult to see the seats rotate when the trains are moving fast, but it is probably a good idea to make sure the seats are somewhat in a correct rotation throughout the layout!
It can be tricky to build a good multi-dimension coaster, but I will release a tutorial soon that should help you get on your way!
Rule 1: You have to make a park with a multi-dimension roller coaster! You must use the standard multi-dimension coaster trains, and the track must mostly consist of the standard multi-dimension coaster track.
Rule 2: The multi-dimension coaster trains must actually be used as a multi-dimension coaster, so the seats must rotate somewhere along the track. I have seen people use these trains as wing coasters in previous rounds with the seats not rotating at all, this is not allowed.
Rule 3: The deadline for this contest will be on Sunday the 27th of December, at 20:00 CET!
Rule 4: You are not allowed to use custom scenery, rides or vehicles for this round. You ARE allowed to use a custom palette if you want!
For this round, you are allowed to use all openrct2-official objects!
Rule 5: Some players told me they wanted some more room in their park this round, so the maximum map size for this round will be 60x60 tiles! You are of course allowed to make your map smaller if you think this is too big!
Rule 6: There are no limits to the amount of other rides you can place in your entry!
Rule 7: Have fun!
