Wooden Coaster Contest

I made a tutorial on how to build a wooden coaster. In this contest, I want you to build your own!

  • Rule 1: You have to make a wooden roller coaster! On wooden coasters with a very curvy or compact layout you should probably use the articulated roller coaster trains, on other coasters you might want to use the 4 or 6-seater trains.

  • Rule 2: This coaster will have a stat requirement: Your wooden coaster must have at least 5 seconds of air time! You can increase airtime by making elements like double-ups, double-downs, and small hills which the coasters travels over at a high speed. The negative G-forces stat is not allowed to be a red number, so keep it reasonable!

  • Rule 3: No inversions.

  • Rule 4: The deadline for this contest will be on Friday the 27th of December, 20:00 CEST

  • Rule 5: You are not allowed to use custom scenery, rides or vehicles for this round. You ARE allowed to use a custom palette if you want!

  • Rule 6: The maximum map size for this round will be 50x50 tiles!

  • Rule 7: Besides your wooden coaster, you are also allowed to put 3 extra functioning tracked rides, like a car ride, river rapids or mini golf, and 3 extra functioning rides with a base, like a launched freefall, a merry go round or a maze. With a functioning ride, i mean that the ride is either Opened or in Test mode.

  • Rule 8: You are allowed to put unlimited amounts of trackitecture. These rides all have to be closed.

  • Rule 9: Have fun!
